This Privacy Policy explains how Wysebridge (“Wysebridge,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses and discloses information in connection with PostGrantProceedings.com (the “Site”). It does not apply to other websites, including wysebridge.com, which have their own privacy notices.

Summary

  • The Site has no user accounts, registration, comment features, newsletters or advertising.
  • Our hosting provider processes standard technical information to deliver and protect the Site.
  • Your cookie choice is stored in your own browser.
  • Analytics, if enabled, run only after you allow them, and never when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal.
  • We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Information We Collect

Technical information (automatically). When you visit the Site, our hosting provider receives information your browser sends with each request, such as your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time of the request. This information is used to deliver pages, maintain security and diagnose problems.

Your cookie choice. The Site stores your consent choice in your browser’s local storage so it does not ask on every visit. This value stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Analytics information (only with consent). If we enable a web analytics service and you choose “Allow analytics,” the service may collect information about your visit, such as pages viewed, time on page, approximate location derived from IP address, device type and referring website, using cookies or similar identifiers. If you choose “Essential only,” or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, no analytics scripts are loaded.

Site search. Searches on the Site run in your browser using a search index downloaded with the page. Search terms are not sent to us.

Information you send us. If you contact Wysebridge, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, organization and the content of your message.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through the Site.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • operate, maintain and secure the Site;
  • understand, in aggregate, which content is useful, if you allow analytics;
  • respond to questions, corrections and requests;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use; and
  • protect the rights, property and safety of Wysebridge, users and others.

If the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Site and responding to messages; on your consent for analytics cookies, which you may withdraw at any time; and on legal obligations where applicable.

How We Disclose Information

We disclose information only:

  • to service providers that host the Site or provide analytics or communications services on our behalf, under terms that limit their use of the information;
  • for legal reasons, when required by law, subpoena or other legal process, or to protect rights and safety; and
  • in a business transfer, such as a merger or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

See the Cookie Policy for details. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

The Site treats a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track signal from your browser as a request to opt out: analytics are not loaded and any analytics choice is set to “Essential only.”

Data Retention

Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for the limited period its service provides. Analytics data, if collected, is kept for the period configured in the analytics account, and then deleted or aggregated. Messages are kept as long as needed to respond and for reasonable record-keeping, and then deleted.

Security

The Site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and collects little personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Visitors

The Site is hosted in the United States. If you visit from another country, your information will be processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your country.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • know what personal information we hold about you and obtain a copy;
  • correct inaccurate personal information;
  • delete personal information;
  • receive personal information in a portable format;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing; and
  • opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, or targeted advertising (we do not engage in these activities).

These rights arise under laws such as the GDPR and UK GDPR and the privacy laws of California and other U.S. states. We extend them to all users regardless of location. To make a request, use the contact page. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If you are in the EU or UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13, or under 16 in the EU and UK. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy by posting a revised version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice on the Site.
